Healthcare Navigators is in the business of providing informed, committed, and compassionate consultative services. We can consult with individuals, and/or their immediate family members, and/or individuals who are serving as health care decision makers who may be facing a difficult health care event. Healthcare Navigators can assist and support with information regarding confusing health care issues, complicated medical diagnoses or procedures, a health care crisis, or issues pertaining to the end of life. 

Physicians often have limited time with which to interact with their patients, and as a result, patients are often left with many unanswered questions. More importantly, patients “don’t know what they don’t know” and are ill-equipped to ask the right questions. Healthcare Navigators can help bridge that gap by taking the time to listen, by helping you to understand the issues that you are confronting, and by providing you with the questions that your physician might need to answer in order for you to comfortably arrive at difficult health care decisions.

One of the most stressful events that patients and families encounter occurs during the end of life. Healthcare Navigators can help here as well. In the face of a crisis, making decisions can be crippling. Planning ahead and having the information with which to make sound decisions about “advanced directives” and end of life care is the best way to avoid such crises.
